This traditional links was formed by Hawtree & Taylor in 1927 and has evolved with the aid of inputs from Eddie Hackett and in recent times Eddie Connaughton. The links has been described as a hidden jewel and the Southern Region of the Irish PGA held their 2001 and 2002 Championships on this links.This Year (2008) Backspin Golf Magazine, following an extensive survey, rated Arklow as its 29th best links on the island of Ireland.

Enniskerry Co.Wicklow
Opened in 1996 the East course quickly gained a reputation as one of the finest golf courses in Ireland. Just 2 years after opening, it hosted the Smurfit Irish PGA championship and in 2001 was the venue for the AIB European senior tour.

Blainroe Wicklow
With a Par 72 length of 6175 meters (6800 yards) the course is always well maintained and offers an interesting variety of holes with the 14th played over the sea from a cliff promontory, probably being the feature followed by a testing par 3, the 15th which was part of a re-design of all greens and tees to USGA championship standard re-opening in 2005.

Ballinastoe Golf Club is located in a scenic area of natural beauty, three miles from the village of Roundwood, Co Wicklow, approximately 20 miles from the centre of Dublin. It is surrounded by Djouce woods and Mountain with the Sugarloaf Mountain to the east. The developer, Anthony Mulligan, has completed the developement of a nine-hole golf course on his lands at Ballinastoe which started in 2003. Anthony was previously in the building trade for over forty years and has applied this experience together with the expertise of others to build what is now a top quality course. Anthony's nephews, Fergal, Brian and Thomas are also involved in the day to day running of the club and maintenance of the course.
